Alejandro Terra is a Cuban-born singer-songwriter whose music blends the rich sounds of his heritage with a modern twist, creating a unique and captivating style. Born and raised in Cuba, Alejandro began playing music at the age of 10, developing a deep passion for the art. By 15, he had already begun writing his own songs, showcasing his natural talent for blending heartfelt lyrics with melodies that resonate across genres.

In 2012, Alejandro and his family made the life-changing decision to move to Miami, where he immersed himself in the jazz music scene and further honed his craft. In 2018, he graduated from Miami Dade College with a degree in Music Business, gaining the skills needed to navigate the music industry while nurturing his artistic ambitions.

In 2019, Alejandro officially launched his musical career with the formation of Duo Terra, a project that showcased his talent as a performer and songwriter. Gaining momentum, in January 2020, he embarked on a successful tour across Argentina, captivating audiences with his performances. Later that year, he moved to Houston Texas where he began his solo career as Alejandro Terra.

In May of 2021, Alejandro released his debut album “Desde el Exilio”, a conceptual album that many love for its authenticity and emotional depth. The album introduced his dynamic sound to a wider audience, blending Cuban influences with contemporary styles. As his career continued to flourish, Alejandro relocated to Dallas, Texas, in 2022, where he continued to grow both as an artist and as a cultural ambassador for Cuban music. Between 2021 and 2023 Alejandro released 7 singles, until he started working on his second album “Intimo”.

Beyond his music career, Alejandro is also dedicated to supporting the Latin arts community. He founded La Peña, in November of 2022, an artist organization aimed at showcasing Latin artists in theaters and cultural venues throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. Through this initiative, Alejandro has worked to amplify the voices of Latin musicians, providing them with opportunities to perform and connect with new audiences.

On December 1st, 2024, Alejandro released his highly anticipated second album, further showcasing his evolution as a musician and songwriter. With a sound that continues to evolve and a dedication to sharing his story through music, Alejandro Terra is poised to leave a lasting impact on the music world and Latin culture.
